BRIEF: To replace a non-responsive website with a more contemporary responsive content management system website that would enable the franchisors to improve the promotion of Ceroc and Ceroc dance classes throughout New Zealand, and to provide resources for franchisees and Ceroc dance teachers.
SOLUTION: We designed and developed the new website around a highly sophisticated calendar linked from a Google Map displaying placemarks of all Ceroc branches, and secure password protected pages for Branches and teachers. Using category and tag functions incorporated in the calendar, we provided individual pages and calendars for each Branch, with national dance events being automatically displayed on a central events calendar and on an upcoming events list on the Home page. Unlike the former site, the new website displays well on SmartPhones; the internet device of choice for the majority of Ceroc dancers.
OUTCOME: An attractive, functional website that should be very effective and useful for dancers throughout New Zealand.
